Problem:

Parker was faced with a unique problem of its existing applications running the risk of being outdated. These were developed more than a decade ago on Java/J2EE platform. Their Java application provided a e-commerce platform to businesses, and had around 1 million unique users per month. Parker want to move their applications and databases, currently in AIX, to the cloud (Azure). Moreover, they also wanted to move their existing IBM WebSphere Commerce and DB2 databases to Enterprise Red Hat Linux servers on Azure.

Solution:

Audax Labs adopted lift-and-shift approach to migrate Parker’s existing Java applications. After the planning stage and a successful POC, Audax Labs migrated the application and tested it thoroughly.
